I started with the Red Knights back in 2002 when I founded Maryland Chapter 3 here in Ocean
City. With around 20 members initially, the chapter grew to one of the largest and most active in the organization.
I held the office of Chapter 3 President until the fall of 2008 when I resigned in order to
take a position as the Maryland State President. At the time of my resignation Maryland 3 had close to 200 members from 40
or more fire departments on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
My proudest year was one in which the chapter raised over $36,000.00 for charity. The members
of MD 3 are very hard working and dedicated folks and I was very proud to lead such a fine group.
From the beginings back in 2002 to current, the Red Knights have continued to increase the awareness
of the club and the outstanding job that they do for those less fortunate.
